A First Look at the new Fifty-50 Core Balance Frames

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

Here’s a sneak peak at the new Core Balance Frames from Fifty-50. As you can probably see, the new frame walls are not split down the middle like the freestyle Core frames. The Core Balances use a solid frame wall which I think is a really good decision. It makes the frame much more rigid and sturdy. Assembly of the frame is also far easier than with the freestyle Core frames. The frames come stocked with 8mm axles and metal frame spacers.

The groove is plenty big enough to ride flat with but I’m testing them out right now anti-rocker. I’ll post back when I’ve had more of a chance to skate them..

New Flow Rider -  Michael Froemling

For the QuickTime-less

First time I put on these skates for some reason it felt a little more comfortable, I don’t know if they change the liner design, but whatever they did they did it right and It feels way better. The new all white one piece souls are so nice, making the skate more rigid and stiffer on grinds, and the souls are a little bit bigger which is a huge plus for me; cause I go threw the old Remz souls pretty fast. The new GC Dual Injection frames are so fast on rails and ledges, I love it. The only thing I would change about this skate is the toe cap color. I love white skates, but the toe cap gets dirty fast. All together this skate is by far my favorite Remz skate to date, new souls, new colors, classic fit, and new frames. The perfect skate in my opinion for anyone.
