Deshi was started by Randy Spizer and Louie Zamora when they left USD to start their own company. When two pioneers like these start their own company people are going to notice. They started with the DK1 skates that brought an all new look to soft boot skate design. They used two velcro cross straps instead of the usual buckle. This gave the skate a ton of flex. Since then, Deshi has constantly improved and revamped their skates. The newest models, CH1 and Carbon skates use a buckle and internal cuff that the first Deshi’s didn’t have. The new boots are also constructed using carbon to provide support to the boot while keeping it light.
The Deshi Carbon boot consists of a shell that is 100% Carbon and Kevlar. These materials are extremely strong and lightweight. They hold their shape forever. Each boot size has it’s own shell size so it is perfectly proportioned to your foot. The boot is 30% lighter than any other skate out there which has obvious benefits.
One of the coolest things about Deshi’s is that you can ride them with a ton of different soul plates. USD 2 piece souls are probably the most popular option for skating Deshi. You can also use Xsjado souls and bases along with all of the other versions of Deshi soul plates created.
